Good Evening Tindley Families,
Tindley’s Leadership team has been closely monitoring developments with COVID-19 and the impact that this coronavirus may have on our daily school operations. Although there are currently no suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Tindley we believe it’s in the best Health and Safety of our scholars, staff and families to close schools.
All Tindley schools will close and begin our Spring Break on Monday, March 16, 2020. At this time scholars will be scheduled to return to classes on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. If there are any changes to this schedule we will communicate via email, phone call, web page and social media.
We don’t come to this decision lightly and believe it’s in the best interest of the health and safety of our scholars to move forward in this manner.
After Monday, March 16, no students or adults will be allowed on campus without approval from the CEO or COO. While our school building is closed, intensive cleaning will continue within our school facilities to help ensure a safe environment when students return.
All athletic and extracurricular activities scheduled to occur during this four-week period will be postponed or canceled. The safety of our scholars, staff and family remains the top priority in our decision-making process.
Thank you for your understanding during these very stressful times. We look forward to well rested and healthy scholar eager to learn upon their return on April 7, 2020.
Have a great evening!
