Young Professionals Advisory Council

The Young Professionals Advisory Council is a community engagement council of young professionals whose purpose is to educate the community and promote the mission of Tindley Accelerated Schools. These diverse but like-minded individuals value the purpose of Tindley and support accelerated learning and college for all scholars. They meet monthly and participate in events and programs that support all Tindley Accelerated Schools.

 

Our council members also serve as mentors for our high school youth. Each young professional is matched with one high school junior or senior whom they mentor throughout the school year. They are given the flexibility to connect in a way that is best for both the mentor and mentee. The goal is that the young professional can provide guidance, advice, and possibly resources as our upperclassmen are approaching college. They are matched based on experience, industry, skills, and interests.
