Want to make a difference in the lives of Tindley scholars? Become a volunteer!

There are several opportunities to volunteer at Tindley schools.

Trailblazer Parent Volunteer/Supporter  – Volunteer or attend the network’s largest annual fundraising event with special parent/family opportunities. This year's event is virtual and will be on Friday, November 6, 2020.

Time Commitment: Varies

Book Buddy – Volunteer at one of our two elementary schools to read aloud to our young scholars.

Time Commitment:  Flexible

Capstone Project Judge – As a judge, you will listen to and critique scholar’s Senior Capstone projects, which are a requirement of graduation and provide experience doing scholarly research. These projects test a student's project management skills, as well as their ability to communicate both orally and through writing. Giving your time to this event allows scholars to make a meaningful step in their transition to college and career.

Time Commitment:  One Saturday in April (TBD) from 8am-2pm

Corporate  / Service Group Volunteer – Projects large and small are always available for corporate volunteer and service groups.  From helping keep playgrounds clean and safe to a read-a-loud day in the school, there is a project that is just right for your group.

Time Commitment:  Flexible
