Assessment

"Standards are meaningless until you define how to assess them. You haven't set the bar for rigor until you've identified what students will have to do to demonstrate what they have learned." -Paul Bambrick-Santoyo

Tindley scholars demonstrate learning from a diverse toolbox of assessments. Teachers use standardized online state assessments, paper-based formative assessments, projects, presentations, and much more to gauge scholar understanding. The range of assessments at Tindley can be as informative and quick as a silent check for understanding in the middle of a lesson, to a year long course (Senior Capstone) and much more in between.
